Miles of Smiles: July 2006

Yummy!!! Once in a while Mommy gives me a baby cookie to chew on, they're so good! Mommy says that someday putting my feet up on the table won't be cute but that we'll deal with that when the time comes because it's cute for now.

Today I went to play group and played with my buddies Quinn, Logan, Katie and Alexander. Their Mommys were there also. We had group at Quinn's house today and I got to play with his kitties and puppy....I love animals! It was lots of fun, I love my friends and they love me too. Mommy always says that my cubby cheeks are so cute that she just wants to bite them....Quinn must have thought so too because while our Mommies weren't looking he bit my cheek. You can kindof see the marks in the picture, I cried a little but Mommy and Heather assured me that I was okay. No hard feelings Quinn, I know I'm irresistable!

Just another day...

When I woke up from my nap today Mommy thought that my hair was funny so she had to take this picture of me....I wasn't quite awake yet but I tried to make it look like I was. (see my teeth)

Here I am standing in front of the TV watching the weather channel with Mommy, we love the weather channel!!!

Here I am sitting pretty, Mommy put me in the shirt that Corwin gave me. It says "I'm definitely up to something" Mommy says that I don't need a shirt to spell that one out.

Daddy was holding me on the couch, trying to keep me out of trouble.....but I'm always curious so I had to make sure that he wasn't looking before I made my move....

Once I knew he wasn't looking I pulled myself up on the window ledge, it was a beautiful day outside!

Daddy caught me, but I just laughed at him. I know that I out smarted him, I'm sneaky!

Talking and Driving

Here I am talking to Grandma on the phone last night. Mommy put it on speaker and I could hear Grandma, I looked everywhere for her but she was nowhere to be found. Daddy puts the speaker on sometimes so I can hear Mom too. I like to listen on the phone but I don't like to talk on it yet, I get shy. I miss everyone though!!!

Here I am sitting on my scooter, Mommy says it goes "Vroom, Vroom" and it makes me laugh. Sometimes Mommy turns my scooter into a walker and helps me walk with it, that's fun!

"Look Ma, one hand!" I'm getting good at sitting on my scooter! I've figured out how to get off of it by myself but I haven't figured out how to get on so Mommy helps me. Sometimes I push with my feet and I go backwards but most of the time I just sit and play with the orange lever. It's all fun though.

Bowling, standing, and being sick!

Sickies getting ready for bed. Miles had a runny nose yesterday, we thought from teething but I guess we were wrong because now mommy and baby are both sick....yuck! Time for bed!

I've got a cold, but I can still stand! Mommy and Daddy have blocked off all my exits, what's the fun in that!?!

Mommy and Daddy went bowling with carters Mommy and Daddy, I tried to be sneaky and steal Carters toy but Mommy and Daddy were too quick!

Daddy kept playing with me and putting my hood on my head after I would pull it off, it made me laugh. I think I got this outfit from cousin Finny......it's comfy!!! Thanks Cuz!

Growing up so fast!

Mommy thinks that I will be walking before my first birthday! I think so too, I'm already trying to stand on my own, forget this crawling stuff....that's for babies! I like to think of myself as a big boy. Mommy says that no matter how big I am I'll always be her little boy, I guess I'm okay with that. I think I'm teething again, I get cranky when my teeth are coming in, but Mommy tries to stay patient with me. I'm almost 21 pounds now, one more pound to go and I'll weigh as much as our kitty. Mommy says that the kitty is fat! I won't be fat if I weigh that much though, I'll just be healthy......I told her that kitty isn't fat, there's just more of him to love.

Look at me, I'm so talented!!! I can hold my sippy cup all by myself!

Mommy let me sit in our rocker and look at my picture book....Mommy needs to put more pictures it though because there's only two. Mommy stayed right by my side so that I didn't get any bright ideas about getting out of the chair on my own. Mommy says that my innocence is so precious, yet it scares her because I'm fearless....Mommy says that someday I'll learn what I can and can't do. I say I don't know what Mommy's talking about!

Hey look, I caught a fish!!! I love being in my boat, it's tons of fun!

Mommy and Daddy wanted to go on a walk but Daddy didn't want to take the stroller so he strapped me to his belly!!! Daddy said that my legs are too fat for this contraption, but I like it! I got to be tall and see everything that was going on....plus the wind was blowing through my hair....aaaaahhhhhh, I love the wind!

My pool is a little small, but Corwin wanted to play in it with me anyways. I wasn't about to let him have my ducky though, nobody messes with the duck!!!

Mommy and Daddy let me play in the ocean a whole lot today!!! I was splashing in the waves, and jumping over them. It was a lot of fun! The waves tickled my feet and it made me laugh...He he he

Corwin's Mommy and Daddy buried him in the sand. They're silly!!!

Mommy was hot and wanted to get in my pool to cool off because it was in the shade and I was eating....She didn't fit very well....

Down Town Charlie Brown

Daddy put my feet in the fountain, he said that he wanted to jump in, but Mommy said that he couldn't get in the fountain.....I don't know why, the water felt good to me!!!

I think I'm becoming a Daddy's boy I always look grumpy when Mommy holds me.....Daddy....take me back I see Mommy all the time!!!

Daddy was giving me a ride on his shoulder from the car to our house. Daddy always does fun things with me.....I have the best parents in the world!!!

To The Zoooooooooo

Here's Daddy and I at the zoo, we went with Carter and his family.....it was fun, but HOT!!!

Daddy tried to show me how to milk a cow......there was something fishy with that cow though....

I took a nap and missed the dino......but he saw me....

Toys, Reading, & Kitty

I can sit up Tall!!!! I really miss my buddy Elliott, he moved away.....but mommy bought me and elephante and I named him Elliott after my friend.

Silly Mommy, she sat me in my inner tube to watch TV and drink my bottle.....it was actually quite cozy.

Mommy made me a new toy. It has lots of animals on it, it makes noise and is really soft....I LOVE IT!!!!

Kitty had to take a bath....he was not happy!

Mommy read me the Foot Book......I didn't know I would meet so many different feet!!! Can you see my feet!?!

How I spent my Saturday...

I went to swim lessons again on saturday and Daddy got to come!!! I love being with Mommy but it was great to have Daddy there too!

Daddy was throwing my up in the air, and blowing bubbles, and he even dunked me under water...I'm getting better about going under water, it's still kinda scary though.

After swim lessons I went to my friend Logan's 1st birthday party....It was so much fun!!! We got to go swimming again...I love the water! This is my buddies and I in the pool....there's Logan and his dad, Katy who is hiding, Ben's being silly, and I'm just hanging out.

Here's the birthday boy Logan eatting his cake....Mommy let me try some of her cake, it was yummy! I can't wait for my birthday so I can eat cake too!!!

This is Miss Jodi and I. I love Miss Jodi, she is Ben's Mommy. She's helped my Mommy a lot, and Mommy says she's a good friend. Did I mention I love Miss Jodi!?!

Miss Jodi lets me chew on her bracelet, Mommy has one too but I like Miss Jodi's better. I'm lucky, Ben doesn't even get to chew on it!

This is my Mommy and I getting ready to leave the party. It was an exausting day! Fun, but exausting! Doesn't my Mommy look pretty in her dress and new shades? My Daddy says she is one hot Mama! Daddy's funny!

A Day at the Beach!

Mommy & Daddy brought my little pool to the beach so that I could play in the shade. Daddy taught me how to splash....we got Mommy!
