Two weeks down....

Two weeks down since Daddy left....so far so good. Mommy has been good about keeping me busy and Grandma and Grandpa help too. I miss my Daddy though. I point to his picture all the time and say "Dada! Dada!" Mommy always says he's working but that he loves us very much....I love you too Daddy!

Here I am with Mommy, she wanted to take a picture to send to Daddy...I'm giving my serious look. Mommy wanted me to smile, but I didn't want to.

Here I am with Mommy again holding Curious George and my new ball. My friend Elliott has one of these and I love it so Mommy got me my very own!

Mommy was playing peek-a-boo over and under the camera....so here I am ducking my head to peek at her under the camera....Mommy says I'm silly!

Mommy and I were looking at my globe ball to see where Daddy was....Mommy laughed because she said, "he's got the whole world, in his hands" I didn't get it....

Mommy finally got me to smile for the camera...I really do smile a lot just that the camera isn't sneeky enough to catch them most of the time...

Can you guess what I'm saying here? "Cheeeeeeeeese!"

And Mommy made me laugh because she laughed at me.....sorry for showing my food!

Mommy went to the coffee shop the other day and I wanted her coffee....Mommy said I'm a little young for that but she got me a cup so that I could pretend. Everytime that Mommy took a drink, I tipped my cup up to take a "drink" too...

This isn't the best picture of Mommy, I think she was tired but it does show off my little brother or sister quite well so we put it in anyways. Mommy's getting big and my little brother or sister is moving around all the time...Mommy says they're going to be just like me! We find out what it will be on May 1st...I can't wait!

I got to eat mashed potatoes and corn at Grandma and Grandpa's house, it was yummy and I got to feed myself with my new fork and spoon that Grandma got for me.

Things weren't going fast enough so I decided to use both hands...I've seen Daddy do this once or twice so I knew just how it was done!

Grandma and Grandpa got me my first Easter basket, and I got a new hat too.

The basket was full of eggs with little bunnys on them....

The egg rattled so I had to have Mommy open it for me...

And to my surprise it was full of goldfish crackers....YUMMY!

I also got new shoes from Grandma and Grandpa, they light up when I walk, it's pretty cool!

Daddy called it D-Day...

Mommy and Daddy woke me up to put me in the car at 11pm Sunday night. I didn't know what was happening so I just went back to sleep. Mommy dropped Daddy off at the ship, they said their good-byes to eachother, then Daddy said good-bye to me.

Daddy kissed my forhead good-bye while I slept in the car. I would have woke up had I realized that I wouldn't be seeing him again for 6 months, but Daddy didn't want to wake me. I love you Daddy!

Mommy took me to go watch Daddy's ship leave. It took a long time, but it was worth it. Here I am with Mommy and Daddy's ship in the background.

And away it goes...I waved bye-bye to Daddy as his ship set out to sea. I love you Daddy! Mommy and I are really going to miss you! Stay safe, and keep in touch!

A day at Sea World

We went to Sea World on Saturday because Daddy got out of work early. This was our last family outing together for quite a while since Daddy is leaving for 6 months on deployment...whatever that is. Here are some pictures...

Daddy fed me kix while we watched the dolphin show, those dolphins sure know how to jump! I really liked the music!

This picture is a little dark but Mommy and Daddy thought it was funny that I would make this face and point and say "oh!" when the dolphins jumped or I heard a loud noise.

I got strawberries for lunch, Mommy was jealous cuz Daddy fed them all to me before she could have one. I had to check it out before I ate it...

Then I tasted it....

And it was DELISIOUS! I love Strawberries, they are YUMMY!

We stayed kinda late, past my bedtime! We watched Shamu Rocks, this was opening night! They played lots of good music, and I danced and danced....then I got sleepy and had to snuggle with Snuggie while the show ended....I was a good boy for Mommy and Daddy though.
