Swimming!!!

On Saturday the 24th I had my first swim lesson with Mommy. We had lots of fun...well most of it was fun. Mom says we get to go back next Saturday too! I'm excited....for the most part.

"This is my Mommy and I swimming, I'm kicking my legs....this is like a huge bathtub!!! I love the bath so maybe this swimming thing won't be so bad after all. Just don't let me go Mommy!"

"My Mommy blew in my face then dunked me under water....mean Mommy. She tells me that we're going to try it again next class, I'm not too sure about that!!!"

"I'm swimming!!! Mommy let me play with a rubber ducky in the water, I think she was trying to make up for dunking me earlier."

"This is my Mommy and I with our friends! To our right with the sun glasses on That's Heather and my friend Quinn, and to our left is Jodi with my buddy Ben....I'm only 6 days older than Ben, and we're both chunky monkeys! People like to poke fun at our chubbiness, but hey it comes in handy when we're swimming....we float!!!"

On SaturdayI had my first swim lesson. It was a lot of fun! I got to play in the water with my friends Ben and Quinn, Their mommys and Quinn's daddy were in the water too....Ben's daddy took pictures so we'll be able to share those soon. My mommy dunked me under water, I'm not to sure about that! She was also trying to get me to blow bubbles but I was too interested in watching all the tricks the boys were doing! Their mommys let go of them under water and they made swimming motions....I can't wait to show off when I can do that! After swimming my mommy and I went to visit Miss Eliza and her friends for fondu....my mommy said it was yummy!

At Miss Eliza's there was this funny dog that was following me around and jealous that I was getting all the attention from the ladies. He gave me kisses though so I think he forgave me for hogging the spotlight.

My mommy fed me and gave me a bath tonight, then we read a story called Baby Micky's Nap. Mom even let me hold the book and try to turn the pages, I needed a little help though.

Pepsi & Turtles!!!

"I'm going to be just like my Daddy...he loves his Pepsi!!! Now, if I could only get this lid off maybe I could get a little taste....hummmm..."

"Mommy and Daddy are trying to help me walk. I think that I can do it on my own if my feet would just do what I tell them too.....I think they have a mind of their own! I guess Mommy and Daddy still want to know that they're needed so I'll play along with this walking game for a while....wouldn't want them to catch on to all the things I already know just haven't shown them yet, then I couldn't practice for the big reveal.....Mommy and Daddy love it when I surprise them with new tricks!"

"This is my turtle, Mommy said that she got it from a lady named Gene at the coffee shop she use to work at. I love this guy! One of these days I'm going to name him but I just haven't decided what yet....any suggestions? He's teaching me how to dance, and he sings 'Can't hurry love' and spins around....we have lots of fun!!!"

Look who's standing!!!

"Look at meeeeee!!!! I was sitting in my crib this morning and I figured, what the heck, let's try standing....so I did. Mom and Dad were so amazed, they had to take this picture for proof! Mom said she isn't ready for me to be such a big boy, I told her that I can't stay little forever!"

A Day at the Zoo

" On Friday my Mommy took me to the zoo up in Columbia, it was me and a car full of girls! Mommy put me in my zoo outfit so I would know which animals were which. We had lots of fun!"

" This is me hanging with the girls! Jaz and JD pushed me around in my stroller....I even had them fighting over me, what can I say? When you got it, you got it!"

"This is my Mommy and I at the zoo, she cut her hair so she could look more like me....I'm still the cutest, but I guess she comes close."

"This is Miss Eliza giving me a piggy back ride at the zoo. I really like Miss Eliza, sometimes I give her a hard time but she knows I'm just playing....we have fun together!"

Kitty & Bath

"This is me and my kitty...he's soft and I want to touch him all the time! He makes me crawl to him, then he gives me dirty looks. I think he's jealous because I can crawl and he can't!"

"This is me getting a bath at Grandma & Grandpa's house in Oregon. Mommy was trying to style my hair, I think she needs to keep trying...don't you!?!

"My mommy gave me a bath today and let me sit in the big boy tub! She even let me have my rubber ducky to play with in the water! She tried to sing the rubber ducky song but she couldn't remember all the words..."

"This is me giving my over the shoulder hollywood look. Aren't my cheeks so pinchable!?! I won't say which cheeks....."

My new friend

Miles has a new friend, his name is Carter ans he's 6 weeks old. His Mommy and Daddy live on the street right behind us and we had a BBQ at our house this weekend. Miles was interested in checking out who this new little guy is.

Miles was very gentle with baby Carter, he wanted to know when he'd be a big brother....Daddy and I told him to be patient, it'll be a little while.

Just the two of us...

"I love my daddy! He lets me rub his scruffy face in the morning, it feels rough. Mommy and Daddy keep trying to get me to make kissy faces but why would I want to look funny like that? I see what they look like, and I'm not sure I want that look on my face!"

"Dang! They finally tricked me into showing off my teeth for the camera....I tried so hard to avoid it, guess it was bound to happen sometime."

Silly boy!!!

"Mom, why do you insist on taking these silly pictures of me? I'll admit I am a goof....just like my daddy!"

"I was on a play date with Anna on Monday and she had this cool toy, I really wanted my own, and since I always get what I want my mommy got me one!"

"Mom says that my new toy will help encourage me to sit up on my own, I'm doing pretty good so far. It's the crawling stuff that's hard, if my hands move my legs don't and vise versa....how frusterating!"

"I'm really into grabbing anything I can reach! Mom was trying to feed me, with my shirt off because I'm a messy eater, and this time I was extra messy because I got ahold of the bowl of rice cereal...yummmmm!"

"Daddy said that Mommy isn't allowed to feed me anymore, he said that she's too messy. That's okay, I like it when Daddy feeds me better anyways....I was a mess, I'll admit it but Daddy gave me a bath and cleaned me all up before bedtime. I love my Daddy!"
